Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead end-to-end supply chain operations for a growing consumer goods business. You will drive planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management and fulfilment while supporting growth and efficiency.

You will establish S&OP processes, optimize inventory, drive cost initiatives, manage 3PLs, and build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership.
• Experience leading complex operations in FMCG, consumer products, manufacturing, retail, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, S&OP, procurement, logistics and warehousing.
• Proven ability to drive transformational initiatives and operational excellence.
• Excellent analytical, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the overall supply chain strategy to support business objectives and growth plans.
• Oversee demand planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and fulfilment operations.
• Establish and drive S&OP processes to align demand, supply, and commercial priorities.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels while balancing service, stock availability and working capital.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives across freight, warehousing, logistics, and inventory holding.
• Manage supplier and 3PL performance to ensure service excellence, quality, and compliance.
• Develop risk mitigation and business continuity strategies for disruptions.
• Lead process improvement, digital transformation, reporting enhancement, and capability development.
• Support product launches, market expansion and commercial growth plans.
• Build, mentor and lead a high-performing supply chain team and advise senior management.
