CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking a concrete batching plant operator in Kuching, Malaysia. You will operate and control the batching plant, prepare concrete according to approved mix designs, monitor the weighing and mixing process, and record daily production.
You must have 1–2 years of batching experience, understand mix designs, and be willing to work overtime. This role requires safety awareness and good communication to coordinate with site teams and supervisors.
Operate and control the concrete batching plant.
Prepare concrete in accordance with approved mix designs and project requirements.
Monitor the weighing and mixing process to ensure accurate material quantities.
Check the availability of cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures before batching.
Monitor the batching plant, control panel, and equipment during operation.
Record daily production, concrete batches, and material usage.
Coordinate with the Site Engineer, Laboratory Technician, and Concrete Supervisor regarding concrete requirements.
Report any equipment breakdown, abnormal operation, or material shortage immediately.
Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping around the batching plant.
Carry out basic inspection and routine maintenance of the batching plant.
Follow all company safety procedures and construction site requirements.
Ensure concrete production meets the required quality and specifications.
Perform other duties assigned by the Site Manager or superior.
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating a concrete batching plant.
Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
Able to understand concrete mix designs and basic batching procedures.
Able to operate batching plant control systems.
Basic knowledge of concrete materials and production processes.
Able to work under pressure and meet production schedules.
Willing to work overtime, weekends, or shifts when required.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Safety-conscious and responsible at work.
