Job summary

HARD ROCK CAFE MELAKA is seeking an energetic Bartender to join our team. You will prepare drinks to standard recipes, maintain a clean bar, handle payments and ensure smooth service during busy periods.

The role requires clear English communication, stamina for long hours, and flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during events. Daily staff meals, medical coverage, and a yearly bonus with salary increments are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Able to stand and walk for long hours.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Must be willing to stay back or extend working hours during events, showcases, or major reservations.
• Required to work on weekends or public holidays if there are ongoing events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks according to standard recipes and specifications
• Practice responsible alcohol service
• Handle cash and other forms of payment accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked bar area
• Replenish liquor, beer, wine, glassware and bar supplies throughout the shift
• Properly label, date, cover and refrigerate prepared bar items
• Maintain and sanitise the three-compartment sink, equipment, utensils and glassware
• Perform opening, closing and side duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar
• Clean counters and glass surfaces, sweep floors and maintain overall cleanliness
