We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Barista to join our team. In this role, you will greet customers, take orders, accurately craft hot and cold beverages, and maintain a spotless workspace.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Beverage & Food Preparation

Craft Specialty Drinks: Prepare and serve a wide range of espresso-based drinks, teas, smoothies, and seasonal specials according to exact recipes and customer preferences.

Technical Coffee Craft: Calibrate espresso grinders, measure doses, pull perfect espresso shots, and steam milk to the ideal texture.

Latte Art: Pour basic to advanced latte art designs (e.g., hearts, rosettas, or tulips) to elevate drink presentation.

Customer Service & Sales

Guest Hospitality: Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and resolve customer complaints with a positive attitude.

Menu Education: Advise guests on coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods, and accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences.

Upselling & Point of Sale: Suggest food pairings or drink upgrades and process.

Daily Operations & Maintenance

Equipment Care: Turn on, dial in, backflash, and clean espresso machines, blenders, and grinders daily to maintain optimal performance.

Shop Upkeep: Keep the bar, service counters, seating areas, and utensils sanitized, organized, and clean throughout the shift.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and paper goods, and restock stations as needed.

Compliance : Strictly adhere to all local food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or customer-facing role is preferred, but many employers welcome entry-level candidates willing to undergo on-the-job training.

Skills: Excellent verbal communication, basic mathematics/cash handling, strong multitasking abilities, and an eye for detail.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, move quickly during peak hours.
