Job summary

Lovns Group Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Barista. The role requires SPM or equivalent; barista certification is a plus. Prior experience is preferred but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

You will prepare and serve coffee, operate espresso machines, and provide friendly service. The position involves shift work, including weekends and public holidays, at Pavilion KL and other nearby locations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions, and resolving complaints in a friendly manner.
• Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and balancing the cash register at shift end.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and restock inventory as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure a hygienic environment.
• Stay updated on coffee trends and participate in training sessions to improve skills.

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions, and resolving complaints in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments, making change, and balancing the cash register at the end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including wiping down counters, washing dishes, and disposing of trash.
• Restock inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies as needed, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices, to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Stay updated on new coffee trends and products, and participate in training sessions to improve coffee preparation skills and knowledge.
