Job summary

Ormond Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a friendly bartender to prepare cocktails, coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic options, and to deliver attentive service while maintaining cleanliness.

You will work with a team, support bar operations and events, handle stock, follow SOPs, and grow into leadership roles over time. Basic English is required; Malay is a plus, and you must have the right to work in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Grooming and professional appearance.

• Right to work in Malaysia.
• 1–2 years of bartending or F&B service experience.
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and coffee basics.
• Barista experience or coffee knowledge is an advantage.
• Food Handler certification or relevant training.
• Experience in events or high-volume service environments.
• Strong teamwork and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, classics, coffee, tea, and zero-proof beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Deliver friendly, attentive service and create a welcoming guest experience.
• Support daily bar operations including opening and closing duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, tools, fridges, and workstations.
• Ensure proper stock handling, including restocking and waste minimization.
• Assist in maintaining bar standards, SOPs, and hygiene requirements.
• Work with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and elevate when needed.
• Support events, promotions, and menu updates when required.
