Job summary

OCBC is seeking a Business Compliance Officer to ensure operations meet regulatory requirements and uphold the bank’s integrity. You will work with diverse stakeholders to identify risks and implement effective controls.

The role blends analytical problem-solving with practical compliance execution. The successful candidate will stay updated on regulatory changes, support AML/KYC processes, and collaborate with business units to maintain strong governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
• Minimum 2 years of banking experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team.
• Mature, meticulous, organized and takes initiative, drive.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of compliance related requirements such as BB Risk Calculators, Enhanced Due Diligence, Ongoing Due Diligence, AML/ Sanction checks for Relationship Managers to review and sign-off.
• Obtain necessary information from customers to complete the compliance assessment for RM sign-off/submissions.
• Provide support to Business Units including KYC, OFAC, appropriateness and other internal and external requirements.
• Monitor and track regulatory compliance and breaches.
• Handle customer inquiries related to compliance and related processes.
