Job summary

OCBC Malaysia is seeking a Bancassurance Specialist to drive the bank's insurance advisory efforts and support Relationship Managers in achieving sales targets. The role emphasizes end-to-end sales execution, training RM teams, and maintaining compliance and strong customer relations.

You will work with internal stakeholders to coordinate sales activities, handle inquiries promptly, and uphold service excellence while meeting regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Banking, Business Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in insurance sales, banking, or investment industries with proven sales performance.
• Possession of necessary and relevant insurance licenses and certifications.
• Strong commitment to drive sales targets with proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide need-based bancassurance advisory to customers and align solutions with goals.
• Support Relationship Managers in closing insurance sales through joint efforts.
• Own end-to-end direct sales closure ensuring a smooth customer experience.
• Drive bancassurance participation rates and KPIs per the APEX framework.
• Collaborate with RMs, branch teams and service providers to support sales and events.
• Provide training and coaching to RMs to enhance insurance knowledge and selling skills.
• Ensure compliance with policies, governance and regulatory requirements.
