Role Description

This full-time, on-site Bancassurance Specialist role is based in WP Kuala Lumpur. The Bancassurance Specialist is responsible for promoting and advising on insurance and takaful products to bank customers, supporting branch staff in identifying protection needs, and delivering suitable product recommendations. Daily activities include engaging customers at branches, conducting needs analysis, preparing proposals, and assisting with policy applications and documentation. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with insurance partners, tracking sales performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The Bancassurance Specialist will participate in product trainings, sales campaigns, and branch activities to drive growth and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and customer relationship skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and offer appropriate bancassurance solutions.
• Knowledge of insurance and takaful products, basic banking operations, and regulatory requirements related to financial services.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities for conducting needs analysis, evaluating options, and handling customer queries or issues.
• Good organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple customer interactions, documentation, and follow-ups.
• Proficiency in basic office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, CRM systems) for reporting and tracking sales activities.
• Relevant experience in banking, insurance, or financial services sales is preferred.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is advantageous.
