Job summary

AmBank Group in Malaysia seeks a sales-focused professional to drive bancassurance and life insurance product sales at the branch. You will execute sales and service activities in line with policies and build relationships with existing and new customers to boost retention and cross-selling.

The role requires a diploma or degree and 1–2 years in financial services sales. You should enjoy meeting people, be a good team player, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• 1–2 years of sales experience in financial institutions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers sales target for bancassurance products.
• Executes sales and services to customers per policies and regulations.
• Builds and maintains relationships with existing and new customers to boost retention and cross-selling.
• Handles customers' enquiries on branch products and services.
• Participates in initiatives to promote life insurance products distributed by the Bank.

Delivers sales target for bancassurance products

Executes sales and services to customers in accordance with internal/external policies, guidelines and regulations

Builds and maintains business relationship with existing and new customers to ensure customer retention and cross-selling opportunities

Attends customers' enquiry on branch products and services and feedback

Participate and organize initiatives and drives to promote Life Insurance Products distributed by the Bank

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent

At least 1-2 years of sales experience in Financial Institutions

A person who enjoys meeting people and loves engaging in conversations

Good team player, self-motivated and able to work independently

Willing to go the extra mile to achieve personal goals and aspirations

Candidate with PCEIA Life / CEILLI / TBE would be an added advantage.
