Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Bakery Supervisor to oversee daily production in the Kuala Lumpur bakery. You will manage the bread-making process from dough preparation to baking and decorating, ensuring smooth operations.

You will lead and train the bakery team, monitor quality and food safety, and coordinate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues as required. 3-5 years of baking experience and strong leadership are preferred; a fast-paced environment suits you.

Qualifications

• Mandarin communication required to coordinate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues.
• 3-5 years of baking experience in bakery production or a supervisory role preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Passionate about artisan baking and food quality.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily bakery production and ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee the full bread-making process, including dough preparation, shaping, filling, baking, and decorating.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and consistency.
• Monitor food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness per SOPs.
• Lead, train, and motivate the bakery team to achieve production goals.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Assist with new product development and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
