Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Technical Lead / Hybrid Systems Engineer to deliver end-to-end cloud (40% Azure) and on-premise (60%) infrastructure within a fast-paced SI and MSP environment.

Lead the service delivery team through cloud project rollouts, drive automated deployment strategies, and advise on risk-based technical decisions while ensuring security and governance.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in IT infrastructure design, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Proficient in Azure or AWS cloud environments, plus strong systems, networking, and Microsoft 365 knowledge.
• Experience in SI/MSP/IT outsourcing services and security/compliance awareness.
• Independent problem-solver with strong communication and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end cloud and on-premise infrastructure solutions in a fast-paced SI/Managed Services environment.
• Lead the service delivery team through cloud project rollouts and technical competency training.

About the Job

• As a Technical Lead / Hybrid Systems Engineer, you will deliver end-to-end cloud (40% Azure) and on-premise (60%) infrastructure solutions within a fast-paced System Integrator (SI) and Managed Services environment.

• Solution Engineering: Propose new Azure technical offerings and design simplified, automated implementation strategies.

• Project & Team Leadership: Guide the service delivery team through cloud project rollouts and manage continuous technical competency training.

• Technical Advisory: Adopt a risk-based approach to balance technical feasibility with client requirements, helping project teams make sound infrastructure decisions.

Key Requirements

• Infrastructure Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience in IT infrastructure design, deployment, and post-implementation support for mid-sized organizations.

• Hybrid Ecosystem: Proven proficiency in managing Azure or AWS cloud environments, alongside strong systems, networking, and Microsoft 365 knowledge.

• SI/Service Background: Solid experience working within a service-based IT industry (SI, MSP, or IT outsourcing) is highly preferred.

• Security & Compliance: Good understanding of IT infrastructure security, risk management, and exposure to compliance/governance.

• Core Attributes: Independent problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a track record of meeting tight timelines.
