Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is partnering with a premier regional Systems Integrator to recruit a Cloud Solution Architect. You will design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in a hybrid, enterprise environment.

You will work with senior architects and clients to translate requirements into architecture blueprints, perform migrations to AWS/Azure, and apply IaC practices with Terraform/Bicep, while ensuring security, cost control, and governance across regulated industries.

Qualifications

• 4 years of hands-on cloud architecture experience.
• AWS/Azure/GCP architecture certifications preferred.
• Strong collaboration and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Architecture support: design and build scalable, cost-effective public and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Cloud migration: support enterprise-level migration projects to AWS or Azure.
• Automation (IaC): write basic Terraform/Bicep templates and support CI/CD pipelines.

Role Overview

As an Cloud Solution Architect, you will work alongside senior architects to design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. This role is a hybrid of technical execution and client-facing consultation, making it ideal for someone transition from infrastructure engineering into architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture Support: Assist in designing and building scalable, cost-effective public and hybrid cloud solutions.

• Cloud Migration: Support enterprise-level migration projects, moving legacy workloads to AWS or Azure.

• Automation (IaC): Write basic Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates (Terraform/Bicep) and support CI/CD pipelines.

• Documentation & PoCs: Create clear architecture diagrams and build Proof of Concept (PoC) environments for client evaluations.

• Collaboration: Coordinate with internal security, operations, and development teams to meet governance standards.

Job Requirements

• Experience: hands-on experience architecting or co-architecting cloud solutions and applying design principles (HA, cost, security) rather than just executing engineering tickets.

• Certifications: Holds an architecture-focused certification such as AWS Solutions Architect – Associate, Azure AZ-305, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.

• Technical Skills: Strong grasp of cloud ecosystems, secure network topology (VPC/VNet, IAM, firewalls), and professional architectural diagramming tools.

• Consulting: Proven ability to interface with clients, gather business requirements, and translate them directly into clear, well-documented technical blueprints.

• Mandarin speaker is preferred on top of english proficiency, due to client nature
