Job summary

Pride Global is hiring an Application Solution Architect in Kuala Lumpur to lead large-scale Azure migrations and cloud solutioning. This role requires 13+ years in IT and at least 5 years focused on Azure Infra, Migrate, Networking, SQL, IaaS/PaaS, Storage, Key Vault, IAM, and DevOps.

Strong Java development experience is essential. The candidate will design Azure target architectures, create BoM and pricing details, and produce high/low-level diagrams (HLD/LLD).

Qualifications

• 13+ years of IT experience required.
• Minimum 5 years experience on Azure Infra, Azure Migrate, Azure Networking, Azure SQL, IaaS/PaaS, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure IAM, Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Assess on-premises/public cloud infra using Azure Migrate.
• Drive cloud solutioning and Azure activities for large migrations.
• Ensure solution covers Azure strategy, stakeholders, business apps and infra; value-for-money (excluding cost).
• Work across banking, healthcare, and insurance domains.
• Design and build Azure Landing Zones; provide Azure target architecture, BoM, pricing, licensing.
• Create architecture diagrams for Azure services (HLD/LLD).
• Migrate on-prem workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate.
• Troubleshoot Azure Windows environments (processor, networking, clusters, I/O, memory).
• Hands-on Terraform scripting, execution and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Migration.
• Note: candidate must have hands-on Java application development.

JOB OVERVIEW

13 years of IT experience and minimum of 5 years of experience on Azure Infra, Azure Migrate, Azure Networking, mainly Azure SQL, IaaS/PaaS, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure IAM, Azure DevOps.

Primary Skills

• Expertise in on-premises/public cloud infrastructure assessments using Azure Migrate.
• Drive cloud solutioning and Azure activities for large, complex migrations.
• Ensure that the proposed solution covers Azure strategy and stakeholder management, as well as the actual solution covering business applications and infrastructure, along with value-for-money considerations (excluding commercial costing).
• Working experience across various industry domains such as banking, healthcare, and insurance.
• Understanding of customer infrastructure landscape and experience in designing and building Azure Landing Zones.
• Provide Azure target architecture, including BoM, pricing, and licensing-related details.
• Create Azure target solution architecture diagrams covering all Azure services, including HLD and LLD.
• Experience migrating on-premises workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate.
• Troubleshooting experience with Azure Windows environments, including processor, networking, clusters, I/O, memory, and related issues.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform scripting, execution, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Migration.
• Note: The candidate must have hands-on experience in Java application development.

Secondary Skills

• PowerShell scripting, execution, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, including pipelines, invoke, etc.
• Good knowledge of Puppet.
• Design business continuity/DR solutions.
• Design identity, governance, and monitoring solutions.
• Work with internal stakeholders, customer stakeholders, and Project Managers to understand migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly.
• Knowledge and experience with RiverMeadow is good to have.
