Job summary

The Emergency Coordinator (ERC) at Private Advertiser in Selangor, Malaysia, leads the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s Emergency Response Plan (ERP) to meet CAAM and ICAO standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the aviation industry.
• Experience in Safety Management System (SMS) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Emergency Response Planning, ICAO standards, and CAAM regulations.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a crisis or emergency environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and review the Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
• Plan & coordinate emergency drills, training, and exercises.
• Activate and manage emergency response procedures during incidents.
• Coordinate with aviation authorities, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders for ERP updates whenever changes occur.
• Support emergency operations and recovery activities.
• Maintain emergency response records, reports, and documentation.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvement actions.
• Support Safety Management System (SMS) initiatives and investigations when required.
