Job description

The Emergency Coordinator (ERC) is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the company's Emergency Response Plan (ERP). The ERC shall ensure the organization is adequately prepared to respond to aircraft accidents, serious incidents, security events and other emergencies in compliance with applicable Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) regulations, ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and the company's Safety Management System (SMS).

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and review the Emergency Response Plan (ERP).

Plan & coordinate emergency drills, training, and exercises.

Activate and manage emergency response procedures during incidents.

Coordinate with aviation authorities, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders for ERP updates whenever changes occur.

Support emergency operations and recovery activities.

Maintain emergency response records, reports, and documentation.

Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvement actions.

Support Safety Management System (SMS) initiatives and investigations when required.

Requirements
