Job summary

ESCO Audio Visual Sdn Bhd is seeking an AV installation technician to install and mount AV equipment at project sites across Malaysia. The role requires wiring, testing, and basic troubleshooting, with emphasis on meeting room setups and video conferencing systems.

Candidate should be willing to travel to project sites, assist during commissioning, and maintain high installation quality and safety standards. Fresh graduates with relevant technical training are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Install and mount AV equipment per project plans.
• Perform cable pulling, termination, labeling, and basic network work.
• Assemble and wire equipment racks per drawings.
• Test and troubleshoot AV systems for proper function.
• Support commissioning and user acceptance testing.
• Maintain installation quality and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, and clients on site.
• Complete installation checklists and report progress.
• Assist preventive maintenance and service activities when required.

Job description

Install and mount AV equipment such as displays, projectors, speakers, cameras, and video conferencing devices.

Perform cable pulling, termination, labeling, and basic network connectivity work.

Assemble and wire equipment racks according to project drawings.

Conduct testing and basic troubleshooting of AV systems to ensure proper functionality.

Assist Engineers during system commissioning and user acceptance testing.

Maintain installation quality, site housekeeping, and compliance with safety requirements.

Coordinate with Project Engineers, subcontractors, and clients on site activities.

Complete installation checklists and report site progress or issues to supervisors.

Support preventive maintenance, repair, and service activities when required.

Key Requirements

1 to 3 years experience in AV installation or low-voltage system installation

Experience with meeting room and video conferencing systems.

Fresh graduates with relevant technical training may be considered.

Willing to travel and work at project sites.

Comfortable working after office hours, weekends, or public holidays when required by project schedules.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
