Job summary

Acousticon Sdn Bhd is seeking an AV System Technician to support installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and technical support of Audio Visual systems and equipment at client sites in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves wiring, mounting, cabling, fault finding, performance verification, and ensuring safety and quality standards while keeping work areas organized and tools in good condition.

• Knowledge of AV equipment installation and testing.
• Ability to follow site safety regulations and SOPs.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Keep work area clean and organized after completion.

Responsibilities

• Install AV equipment including speakers, microphones, amplifiers, DSP, displays and projectors.
• Perform cable pulling, termination and labeling according to drawings.
• Install equipment racks and mount AV devices safely.
• Ensure installation complies with approved drawings and technical standards.
• Assist in system testing and basic configuration.
• Perform cable continuity testing and signal verification.
• Troubleshoot hardware, wiring and basic system faults.
• Rectify defects during installation and handover stage.
• Carry out preventive maintenance for AV systems.
• Replace faulty equipment and components when required.
