Job summary

Tiger Shoji Sdn. Bhd. is expanding its Seremban 2 workshop and seeks automotive technicians with a strong foundation in servicing and repairs. You will diagnose and repair Japanese, Continental, American, and premium vehicles, using advanced diagnostic tools and following strict safety and quality standards.

Joining our team offers hands-on experience across multiple brands, exposure to specialised equipment like OKU seats, and a clear path for technical growth in a brand-new Seremban facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in automotive servicing or repairs preferred.
• Good understanding of automotive mechanical systems and basic diagnostic procedures.
• Experience with Japanese, Continental or American vehicles an advantage.
• Experience in advanced diagnostics, electrical systems or specialised vehicles an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work on different types of vehicles.
• Good teamwork, discipline, punctuality and time management.
• Able to follow Japanese-style workshop standards and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair Japanese, Continental (European), American and premium vehicles.
• Carry out vehicle diagnostics using appropriate diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Inspect, diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, braking, electrical and air-conditioning systems.
• Assist with inspection and repair of specialised automotive equipment, including OKU seats and accessibility systems.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and condition checks on recon and used vehicles.
• Follow proper repair procedures, safety standards and quality control requirements.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and other technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely job completion.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized workshop environment.

Job description

Tiger Shoji is an established automotive service company in Malaysia, providing professional vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and automotive solutions since 2012.

We service a wide range of vehicles, including Japanese, Continental (European) and American vehicles such as Jeep, as well as premium and Japanese reconditioned (recon) vehicles.

Our workshop also handles specialised vehicles and equipment, including wheelchair-accessible vehicles, OKU swivel seats and other vehicle accessibility systems.

As we expand to Seremban 2, we are looking for motivated Automotive Technicians who are passionate about cars and eager to develop their technical skills.

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Perform vehicle servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and mechanical repairs.

2. Diagnose and repair Japanese, Continental (European), American and premium vehicles.

3. Carry out vehicle diagnostics using appropriate diagnostic equipment and tools.

4. Inspect, diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, braking, electrical and air-conditioning systems according to individual skill levels.

5. Assist with the inspection, installation, maintenance and repair of specialised automotive equipment, including OKU seats and vehicle accessibility systems, with appropriate training.

6. Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and condition checks on recon and used vehicles.

7. Follow proper repair procedures, safety standards and quality control requirements.

8. Work closely with Service Advisors and other technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely job completion.

2. Our parent company, Matsushima Holdings is the authorized dealer for some continental cars such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Mini, Volvo and Japanese-branded car such as Mazda and Suzuki.

3. Matsushima Holdings also has been exporting cars to all over the world including Malaysia, and the numbers of exported cars to Malaysia yearly is approximately around 1000 to 1500 units per year.

4. However, until now there is no after sales service being done in Malaysia for those exported cars.

That is one of the main reason why we established the car service center here in Malaysia, to contribute our service strength for those exported cars.

5. We would like to offer the customers our excellent technique and world class service brought out directly from Japan.
