Job summary

Recengine Trading Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Automotive Service Adviser to assist customers with their vehicle service needs in a busy workshop.

You will coordinate with technicians, prepare quotes and service recommendations, and explain costs and timelines clearly while maintaining excellent after-sales support and customer relationships.

Qualifications

• SPM/Diploma in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience as Service Adviser is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Good knowledge of vehicle servicing and repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers and understand their vehicle service or repair requirements.
• Prepare job orders, quotations and service recommendations.
• Explain costs and ETA to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely service.
• Provide updates on vehicle status and handle enquiries/complaints.
• Maintain good customer relationships and after-sales service.

Job description

Attend to customers and understand their vehicle service or repair requirements.

Conduct vehicle check-in and prepare job orders, quotations and service recommendations.

Explain repair/service requirements, costs and estimated completion time to customers.

Coordinate with technicians and workshop teams to ensure smooth and timely service operations.

Provide regular updates and follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status.

Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.

Maintain good customer relationships and provide excellent after-sales service.

Requirements

Minimum SPM/Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in an automotive service centre is an advantage.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Good knowledge of vehicle servicing and repair processes.

Positive attitude, responsible and customer-oriented.
