Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering or equivalent
• 0-3 years of experience in product design, engineering or R&D environment; automotive experience is a plus
• Strong ability to translate customer specs into design requirements
• Experience with engineering drawings, GD&T and interpretation of mechanical designs
• Familiarity with APQP, ECN/ECR processes and design validation methods
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, effective cross-functional communication

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer technical specifications and translate into design requirements
• Ensure drawings and documentation reflect all specs
• Plan and supervise product testing and validation activities
• Initiate ECRs and manage engineering changes
• Provide technical support for APQP projects and NPI milestones
• Participate in project meetings and report development progress
• Support cost optimization and value engineering initiatives
• Perform other tasks as assigned and support management system certifications
