Job summary

Jetour Auto Malaysia's R&D division seeks a driven engineer to contribute to chassis development, testing, and production support. You will work with Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Project Management to drive progress and ensure proper integration of chassis systems.

Responsibilities include prototype builds, vehicle testing, root-cause analysis, and managing ECN/ECR processes, with meticulous engineering documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive/Mechanical/Vehicle Engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year of automotive industry experience, preferably in vehicle development, chassis engineering, testing, or related engineering functions.
• Good understanding of vehicle chassis systems, including suspension, steering, braking systems, wheels, tyres, and related components.
• Experience in vehicle development, prototype testing, validation, production support, or automotive engineering is an advantage.
• Mandarin language is required for communication with Chinese-speaking teams, with English also required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to perform root-cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel to suppliers, testing facilities, or manufacturing plants when required.

Responsibilities

• Support chassis system development across design, analysis, and integration activities.
• Assist in vehicle testing, validation, and evaluation of chassis performance.
• Review specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with R&D teams to ensure proper integration of chassis systems.
