We are seeking a motivated QA Tester to join our team and contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, execute test cases, report defects, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. This position provides an opportunity to develop your skills in software testing under the guidance of experienced QA professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Test Lead, developers, and peers to understand the requirements and functionalities of features and prepare for testing.
Test Documentation & Preparation:
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test environments, with support from senior QA team members.
- Prepare and execute test cases based on the test plan provided by the Test Lead or QA Manager.
- Conduct various testing types, such as functional, exploratory, and regression testing, to identify and address potential issues.
- dentify, report, and track defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
- Collaborate with the Test Lead and peers to investigate defects and coordinate with developers to ensure timely resolution and closure.
- Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment and continuous feedback.
- Provide daily status updates on testing progress, encountered issues, and overall quality status during daily standup meetings.
Continuous Learning & Professional Development:
- Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and advancements in software and mobile application testing to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Engage with peers for shared learning and knowledge exchange.
Requirements:
- Experience: Foundational experience in software testing (manual and/or automation) is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with creating test documentation, conducting various testing methods, and using bug-tracking tools like JIRA.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for identifying potential issues during testing.
- Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively within a team and work closely with developers and stakeholders.
