Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a QA Automation / SDET to own the automation strategy across all platform surfaces, building scalable frameworks and reusable patterns.

You will perform direct API testing for REST and WebSocket services, validate signed callbacks and DB states, define CI/CD test tiers, and maintain test infrastructure including data factories and contract testing.

Qualifications

• 5 years in QA automation / SDET / hands-on testing roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent self-taught experience with a portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute automation strategy across all platform surfaces.
• Direct API testing for REST and WebSocket services; validate callbacks, HMAC variations, and Postgres state.
• Define and manage test tiers (CI pipelines, nightly runs, smoke, regression, and soak testing).
• Maintain supporting test infrastructure including test data factories, tenant seeding, contract testing, and reconciliation harnesses.
