ABB Malaysia is seeking a Technical Sales Support Specialist (Automation) to support the assigned sales organization across Southeast Asia, serving as the technical focal point for DCS solutions and guiding proposals, warranties, and system configurations.

The role leverages ABB tools (CPQ, SoFa, BOL) to size and quote automation hardware and software, provides first-line post‑purchase technical support, and manages RFQ lifecycles and records in Salesforce, with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
Strong written and verbal English with customer service skills.
Willing to transition from site-based work to an office technical role and learn processes.
Proficient with Salesforce.com and MS Office; quick to respond to developments.
Understanding of commercial terms and company policies; good time management.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical lead for ABB Automation Software/Hardware; advise on architecture and upgrades.
Size, configure, and quote solutions using ABB tools (CPQ, SoFa, BOL).
Provide first-line technical support after purchase; diagnose issues and escalate as needed.
Prepare Spare Parts Analysis and Lifecycle Reports to support DCS sales.
Respond to spare parts enquiries and quotations across product portfolios as training expands.
Manage RFQ lifecycle from enquiry to quotation, ensuring PA margin compliance.
Secure orders and handover to delivery; maintain case records in Salesforce.
