Job summary

ASMECH Teknologi (M) Sdn Bhd in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking an Automation Engineer to program automation and controls systems, develop graphical user interfaces for machine control, and collaborate with customers and design engineers on software development for automation machinery.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering, has hands-on PLC experience with Keyence or Mitsubishi, and demonstrates strong communication, initiative, and a drive for

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
Hands-on experience in automated machine software development for PLC, motion control and robotics.
Experience in PLC logic and programming with Keyence, Mitsubishi, or similar PLCs.
Strong sense of urgency and proactive communication skills.

Responsibilities

Program automation and controls systems involving PLC for automation machines.
Develop Graphical User Interface for machine control.
Liaise with customer, design and Project Engineer for software development of automation machinery.
Prepare machine I/O, flow chart, data allocation list and software programming.
Design electrical Schematic wiring diagram according to project requirements.
Document machine operation manual for automation machinery.
