Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Industrial sector to hire a Project Manager specialising in automation solutions. This opportunity is based in Penang and Kuala Lumpur.

The role will lead automation projects from planning through customer acceptance, ensuring compliance, cost targets, performance goals and deadlines are met. Travel or relocation may be required to support business expansion.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Project Management related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in project management.
• Strong background in automation projects within the semiconductor or warehouse sectors.
• Willingness to travel or relocate as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning to customer acceptance, ensuring targets are met.
• Develop detailed project plans with activities, resources, and timelines.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage installation acceptance and training for customers.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across design, sourcing, fabrication, and assembly.
• Identify resources and manage risks to improve efficiency.
• Monitor timelines and job costing; analyze and address gaps.
• Track progress with daily checks and report to BD Manager.
• Maintain project indicators and generate required reports.
