Job summary

PixArt Imaging in Penang seeks a Maintenance Engineer for automated lab equipment, focusing on keeping measurement instruments calibrated and operating reliably.

You will design and manage fabrication of jigs and fixtures, source components, and assist R&D with tester conversion while maintaining preventive maintenance plans and performing in-house troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or other relevant field.
• Competency in 3D and 2D mechanical CAD software.
• Familiarity with jig and fixture fabrication (machining, 3D printing) would be an advantage.
• Soft skill: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Maintenance and continuous improvement of Automated Lab Equipment.
• Maintain lab measurement instruments (electrical and mechanical), including managing the calibration schedule and documentation.
• Support the design verification and product characterization needs of engineers, including designing and managing fabrication of jigs and fixtures, and sourcing for required components.
• Delivered equipment preventive maintenance master plan.
