Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal teams on the development of automation strategy, in-line with the overall company objectives.
Partner with internal team members and automation suppliers to design and develop solutions to meet business objectives.
Engage with suppliers on process study, design & development, and implementation of automation projects.
Conduct studies to identify and determine process improvement opportunities through Automation solution.
Drive automation projects to ensure sustainability of system and do not impact the manufacturing output and any quality issue.
Evaluate and monitor progress and results of automation projects based on return on investment, quality, safety / ergonomics etc.
Plan and track automation projects within the expected scope, and timeline.
Responsible for project and budget presentation to management team to get budget for automation project.
Train Operations and Engineering teams on new automation system implementation.
Closely work with and monitor suppliers timeline and resources.
Identify and track overall site project milestones, technical challenges, lead times and risk and mitigation plans.
Setup regular meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of automation solutions.
Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree or above in Engineering, preferably Industrial Automation or related discipline.
At least 5 - 8 years of relevant working experience in Automation or related field in manufacturing environment.
Good technical know-how and familiar with Automation concepts and solutions.
