Job summary

Sanmina Penang is seeking an Automation Engineer to explore and implement new technology to automate manual processes, design and test new equipment, and address production automation issues on the line.

You will analyze failures, prepare cost and feasibility studies for capital projects, and manage automation projects from design to implementation, leveraging knowledge in equipment maintenance, robotics, AI, and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a relevant engineering field is required; experience will be considered for Diploma holders.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and reliability concepts is expected.
• Experience with robotics, AI and machine learning is preferred.
• SolidWorks proficiency and basic programming knowledge are advantageous.

• Basic understanding of General purpose programming language is an advantage
