RAY TECH SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Product Engineer to design, develop, program, and test electrical systems for new machinery. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative automation solutions that support manufacturing excellence.

The role requires hands-on electrical design, PLC programming, and proficiency with EPLAN, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks. You will document designs, support installation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Product Engineer or similar in manufacturing/engineering environment.
Hands-on experience in electrical system design for machinery is mandatory.
Strong PLC programming experience is mandatory.
Proficient in EPLAN for electrical design.
Proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into technical solutions.
Design electrical systems for machinery and automation equipment using EPLAN, and prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
Develop mechanical layouts, prototypes, and test rigs using CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Program, debug, and commission PLC-based control systems including HMI and motion control.
Conduct testing/validation to ensure product performance and compliance with specs.
Prepare technical documentation and support on-site installation and commissioning.
Provide technical training and contribute to quality/continuous improvement initiatives.
