Job summary

techware Group in Malaysia is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer - Automation who will design, implement, and troubleshot machine automation wiring and electrical systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

You'll develop schematics in AutoCAD/EPLAN, program PLCs, handle single- and three-phase wiring, and coordinate with mechanical, software, and project teams to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in machine automation wiring and control systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and EPLAN for electrical design.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with single-phase and three-phase wiring configurations.
• Laser marking integration experience is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot machine automation wiring systems.
• Develop electrical schematics for automation projects.
• Provide hands-on support for the assembly, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Create and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD and EPLAN.
• Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Handle single-phase and three-phase wiring configurations.
• Integrate laser marking systems into automation processes.
• Prepare and manage Bills of Materials for electrical components.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
• Maintain documentation and ensure quality and safety.
• Support quality assurance and project timelines.
