Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related disciplines.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in Credit Analysis, Credit Assessment, Hire Purchase, Auto Financing, Banking, Leasing or Consumer Finance.
• Good understanding of credit assessment principles and repayment capacity.
• Familiar with CCRIS, CTOS, DSR and credit evaluation.
• Able to analyze financial information and identify credit risks.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin/Cantonese is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess Hire Purchase / Auto Financing applications based on customer profile, income, financial position, repayment capacity and creditworthiness.
• Review customer supporting documents including income documents, bank statements, CCRIS/CTOS reports and other relevant information.
• Conduct credit analysis and identify potential credit risks, discrepancies and areas requiring further clarification.
• Evaluate customer DSR, repayment capability and overall credit profile in accordance with company credit policies and guidelines.
• Recommend approval, rejection or further review based on credit assessment findings and supporting documentation.
• Perform verification and clarification with customers, dealers or relevant parties where necessary.
• Support the team in achieving credit processing turnaround time, accuracy and operational targets.
• Perform other credit-related duties and ad hoc assignments as required.
