Job summary

Maybank is seeking a Credit Analyst to process, analyze and evaluate credit papers for corporate and commercial customers in Auto Finance. You will monitor facilities and ensure asset quality while aiming to meet targets in a competitive market.

Role requires a Diploma/Degree in Banking/Finance/Accountancy/Business Administration with at least 2 years in auto finance, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, and excellent MS Office and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Banking / Finance / Accountancy / Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in auto finance is required.
• Working knowledge on Credit Processing would be an added advantage.
• Able to read and analyse credit report.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to think creatively, results oriented and displays consistent performance.
• Able to perform work under pressure in meeting tight deadlines, independent and a good team player.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with people at all levels.
• Experience from Credit company will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• To process, analyze and evaluate credit papers pertaining to Corporate and Commercial customers
• To ensure the performance and achievement as per target set
• Monitoring of utilization of facility once approval has been obtained
• Monitoring and attending to appeal on variation in terms and conditions of approved facility
• Monitoring and reviewing Region Office’s and AFC’s performance in achieving Business HP target
• Working towards target set in the unfavorable economic condition and highly competitive market
• To ensure loan approved is of good asset quality to minimize NPL (Non-Performing Loan)
• Ensure targets are met which is defined it is accomplished if large and good corporate clients obtain volume sales as well as to tap into the network of Regional offices and Auto Finance Centre on commercial vehicle financing which has high growth potential.
