Job summary

CIMB Bank Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking fresh graduates for an auto loan origination role. You will build dealer relationships, collect and review loan applications, and perform KYC/CDD checks while ensuring credit guidelines are met.

You will verify documents, input data into the Auto Credit System, and maintain timely updates with dealers, supporting the sales and credit operations in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting business relationships with dealers and customers.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by securing auto loans based on target customers and product mix.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and internal teams to generate leads.
• Collect and review loan applications meeting our credit guidelines.
• Ensure customer consent for credit bureau checks before proceeding with applications.
• Interview applicants and perform KYC, CDD, or enhanced CDD for higher-risk cases.
• Verify identification, income, and vehicle documents.
• Enter loan details into the Auto Credit System (ACS) accurately.
• Ensure timely Credit Applications to meet Turnaround Time compliance.
• Update dealers daily on loan status and oversee HP agreement processes.
• Witness and verify signing of HP agreements and share Product Disclosure Sheet.
• Investigate delayed approvals or disbursements and prepare reports for management.
• Conduct site visits when needed and perform other duties as assigned.
