Job summary

CIMB Bank Berhad is seeking a fresh graduate to join its auto loan team in Malaysia. You will work with dealers and customers to secure auto loans, review applications for credit compliance, and conduct KYC/CDD checks as needed.

You'll coordinate with internal teams, enter data into the ACS system, and ensure timely processing of credit applications while maintaining compliance with credit guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Banking, Finance or Business.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply; up to 1 year experience welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with dealers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by securing auto loans based on target customers and product mix.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and internal teams to generate business leads.
• Collect and review loan applications ensuring documents meet credit guidelines.
• Obtain customer consent for credit bureau checks before proceeding with applications.
• Interview applicants and perform KYC, CDD or enhanced CDD for higher-risk cases.
• Verify identification, income and vehicle documents.
• Enter loan applications into the Auto Credit System (ACS) with accuracy.
• Ensure timely Credit Applications to meet Turnaround Time compliance.
• Update dealers daily on loan application status.
• Oversee issuance of Letters of Undertaking to dealers and HP documents.
• Explain HP agreements and witness signing.
• Investigate and follow up on delayed approvals or disbursements.
• Prepare proposals for panel dealers and additional facilities requested.
• Conduct site visits when needed.
• Assist in preparing reports for the Business Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
