About the role AGS Advisory, a leading financial advisory and accounting firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Auditor / Senior Accountant to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a key member of our Accounting and Audit division, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional financial services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Conducting thorough audits and financial reviews to ensure the accuracy and compliance of our clients' accounting practices.

Preparing detailed financial reports, statements, and analyses to support strategic decision-making for our clients.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential financial risks and opportunities.

Providing expert guidance and recommendations to clients on complex accounting and regulatory issues.

Participating in the development and implementation of innovative financial solutions to meet client needs.

Mentoring and training junior members of the accounting and audit team.

Prepare a full set of management accounts.

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.

At least 5 years of experience in a senior auditor or senior accountant role, preferably within a reputable professional services firm.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with clients and team members.

Proficiency in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools.
