K.INDRA & ASSOCIATES in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to lead and supervise audit engagements for SME and corporate clients. You will plan, execute, and review audits, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with MFRS, MPERS, and ISAs, while guiding junior staff.
The role requires 3–4 years of external audit experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in ABOT/AXP and MS Office.
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Audit Senior to join our growing audit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing audit assignments, reviewing audit work, liaising with clients, and supervising junior team members.
Plan, execute, and complete audit assignments for SMEs and corporate clients.
Supervise and guide junior audit staff throughout audit engagements.
Review audit working papers and ensure proper audit documentation.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Identify and communicate audit issues to the audit manager.
Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information and supporting documents.
Ensure audit assignments are completed accurately and within the stipulated deadlines.
Provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior team members.
Assist the audit manager in managing audit engagements and resolving audit matters.
Perform other audit-related duties assigned by the management from time to time.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 3-4 years of external audit experience.
Good understanding of MFRS, MPERS, and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
Able to supervise, guide, and review the work of junior audit staff.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments.
Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Must have working experience with ABOT and AXP audit software.
