Job summary

Raki CS Tan & Ramanan, a Chartered Accountants firm with offices in Melaka, Kuala Lumpur, and Johor Bahru, invites a team leader to join the Assurance Department to lead audits from planning to finalisation and deliver high-quality reports.

Applicants should have MICPA/ICAEW/ACCA/CPA Australia/MIA eligibility, 4–6 years of relevant experience, strong communication, leadership and MS Office skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Member of a professional body such as MICPA, ICAEW, ACCA, CPA Australia, and MIA eligible.
• 4-6 years of relevant working experience in a reasonably sized Firm.
• Good working knowledge of ISA / IFRS / PERS.
• Possess leadership qualities and an analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (English & BM).
• Proficient in MS Office - Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits and produce comprehensive audit documentation to support the audit opinion.
• Research and solve challenging accounting and auditing matters.
• Contribute to file reviews and ensure ISA / IFRS compliance.
• Manage relationships with client finance teams.
• Mentor junior associates and collaborate with experienced senior management.

Your Role

Join our Assurance Department as a team leader to complete and deliver audit engagements from audit planning to finalisation.

You may be considered for an Assistant Supervisor position should you be suitably qualified and experienced.

Your Qualifications

4-6 years of relevant working experience in a reasonably sized Firm.

Good working knowledge of ISA / IFRS / PERS.
