Job summary

Koa & Co. is hiring Senior & Junior Audit Tax Assistant at the Mount Austin Branch in Johor Bahru, Johor. This full-time role supports Tax and Audit operations with a diverse client portfolio and a collaborative team in a busy environment.

You will assist with audit planning and execution, tax preparation, and regulatory research, contributing to high-quality work and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years in external audit or tax advisory roles.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

We are seeking Senior & Junior Audit Tax Assistant to join our team at Koa & Co. (Mount Austin Branch) in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in supporting our Tax and Audit operations.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the planning and execution of external audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio

Performing detailed financial analyses and preparing audit reports and relevant documentation

Collaborating with the Audit team to identify and address any areas of concern or risk

Providing tax advisory and compliance services to clients, including preparing tax returns and filings

Conducting research to stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and tax regulations

Supporting the team with ad-hoc administrative and project-based tasks as required

What we're looking for

Relevant in Accounting, Finance or a related field

1-3 years of experience in external audit or tax advisory roles

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Familiarity with accounting software and tax preparation tools

A commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Ability to work well in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
