Job summary

Gow & Tan, a longstanding chartered accounting firm based in Johor Bahru, invites applications for an Audit/Tax Assistant. You will assist seniors in audits and tax engagements, liaise with clients and authorities, and ensure adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CTIM).
• LCCI or partial ACCA, accounting diploma holders and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• High integrity with strong sense of responsibility, commitment and discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients.

Audit/Tax Assistant

Responsibilities:

Assisting seniors/ supervisors in performing audit and assurance engagements.

Take charge of statutory audit/tax assignments for clients ranging from various industries.

Liaise with clients and relevant authorities.

Adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements throughout the audit and process.

Assist with other tax-related duties as required.

Requirements:

Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting or aprofessional qualification(ACCA, CPA, CTIM or equivalent).

Candidate with LCCI or partial ACCA qualification, accounting diploma holder and fresh graduates with or without working experience are encouraged to apply.
