Job summary

M H Yong & Co. is seeking an Audit Assistant / Semi-Senior / Senior for its Segambut-based team. The role involves performing audits across industries, planning and documenting fieldwork, and guiding junior staff while maintaining client relationships.

The ideal candidate holds a accounting/finance degree, with or without audit experience, and may have ACCA/CPA/MICPA or be pursuing. Strong communication and leadership are essential, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance is required or preferred.
• ACCA/CPA/MICPA or actively pursuing is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
• Plan, execute and document audit fieldwork in accordance with professional standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of audit engagements.
• Identify and communicate audit and accounting issues to supervisors.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Manage client relationships and provide professional advice.
• Ensure assignments are completed within deadlines.
• Support senior staff in delivering high-quality audit services.
