Job summary

UHY in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Audit Associate / Audit Semi Senior to join the team on a full-time basis. You will support clients across various industries with high-quality audit and assurance services, performing fieldwork and contributing to reports and presentations.

The role offers opportunities to develop technical skills and industry knowledge through ongoing training and development, with a focus on delivering value and robust controls for clients.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• PPA qualification is an advantage.
• 1–2 years in a professional accounting practice (for Senior/Semi Senior).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit fieldwork and gather evidence to support opinions.
• Identify and evaluate risks and internal controls across client operations.
• Analyse financial statements and key business documents.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and client presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client service.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and controls.
