Job summary

Encore Event Technologies in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks an AV technician to join our team. The role focuses on operating audio visual equipment for hybrid and in-person events, ensuring top-notch service and flawless technical delivery.

You will work with lighting, camera setups, LED walls, video networking, and GrandMA control, while maintaining a professional appearance and strong customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Operate audio visual equipment to required standards for events.
• Demonstrated experience with hybrid and virtual events.
• Customer-centric with strong service skills and client focus.
• Strong lighting abilities; knowledge of GrandMA and seamless switching.
• Experience with camera setup, video networking, LED walls and programming.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high presentation standards.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated competency in operating audio visual equipment;
• Experience with Hybrid and Virtual events
• Customer centric and excellent customer service skills;
• Strong lighting abilities and knowledge of GrandMA, Advanced seamless switching experience, Camera Setup, video and data networking, LED Wall setup and programming
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• High standard of personal presentation
• Riggers Ticket (highly regarded)
