Job summary

Renesas Semiconductor (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an ATE Test Technician to join our Kulim manufacturing team. You will maintain and support test equipment to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and will learn to handle preventative maintenance, calibration, and basic troubleshooting across testers, handlers, and related components. You will work with engineers on failure analysis and root-cause investigations, while ensuring thorough

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronic Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of electronics and mechanical systems.
• Experience with ATE platforms (UltraFLEX, V93K, T2000) or handlers (EPSON, JHT, Vitrox) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on test equipment (testers, handlers, contactors).
• Replace consumable parts such as contactor pins, sockets, and indexers.
• Carry out routine calibration of test instruments.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues — mechanical, electrical, and thermal.
• Support engineers in failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Maintain proper documentation and reports.

About the Role

We are looking for an ATE Test Technician to join our semiconductor manufacturing team in Kulim. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our test equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on test equipment (testers, handlers, contactors)
• Replace consumable parts such as contactor pins, sockets, and indexers
• Carry out routine calibration of test instruments
• Troubleshoot hardware issues — mechanical, electrical, and thermal
• Support engineers in failure analysis and root cause investigations
• Maintain proper documentation and reports

What We're Looking For
