• Procurement Execution: Manage purchase requisitions and convert to purchase orders for fit-out projects.

• Assist in supplier selection, evaluation, and onboarding for fit-out projects.
• Support contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Cost Analysis & Reporting: Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare procurement reports and dashboards for management review.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulatory requirements.

We are currently seeking a Associate Specialist, Procurement - Data Center Fit-Out to join our team in Remote, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (MY-14), Malaysia (MY).

Summary

The Associate Specialist, Procurement – Client Fit Out supports procurement activities for client-specific fit-out projects within data center environments. This role ensures timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, services, and contractors while maintaining compliance with company standards and project timelines. The position requires strong analytical skills, vendor management capabilities, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver high-quality fit-out solutions.

KEY responsibilities

• Procurement Execution:
• Manage purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders for fit-out projects.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Assist in supplier selection, evaluation, and onboarding for fit-out projects.
• Support contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Cost Analysis & Reporting:
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare procurement reports and dashboards for management review.
• Compliance & Risk Management:
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and mitigate risks related to delivery, quality, and compliance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with project managers, finance, and operations teams to align procurement activities with project schedules and budgets

KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

• Understanding of fit-out procurement processes and supply chain principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement) and procurement tools.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
• Certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 2–4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in construction or data center fit-out projects.
• Familiarity with strategic sourcing, vendor evaluation, and contract management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly moves equipment and other hardware up to 25 lbs.
• Frequently move about inside and outside of data center / facility
• Remain stationary for long periods of time.
• Ascend / Descend a ladder and perform duties atop a raised platform.
• Position self in small spaces.
• Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment.

Work conditions & other requirements

• Follow Malaysia working hours; however, occasional flexibility may be required to connect with the European Team Lead later in the day.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and loud noises.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Travel required 10% of time (occasional visit to Cyberjaya & Singapore office).
• Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection.
• Thai and English language skills are required.
