Job summary

Sunway Berhad is seeking an Associate - Robotics to develop, test, and deploy intelligent robotic systems for real-world deployments and customer pilots. You will calibrate robots, diagnose systems, and troubleshoot hardware and embedded components while integrating AI models with robotics platforms.

The role involves building automation tools, supporting PoC projects, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable robotics solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead robot calibration and end-to-end diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, sensors, embedded systems.
• Develop automation scripts for data acquisition, logging, and analysis.
• Own PoC development, validation, and field deployment.
• Manage system integration across AI models, robotics platforms, and external systems.
• Provide technical support for product demonstrations, industry events, and customer pilots.

Associate - Robotics (Digital Technology Solutions)

We are looking for a passionate Robotics Engineer to develop, test, and deploy intelligent robotic systems. This role involves robot calibration, system diagnostics, hardware and software troubleshooting, and automation tool development to ensure optimal performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models with robotics platforms, drive proof‑of‑concept projects, and support real‑world deployments, product demonstrations, and customer pilots. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, technically curious, and enthusiastic about robotics, automation, and emerging technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

Leadrobot calibration, and end-to-end diagnosticsto ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues acrosshardware, firmware, sensors, embedded systems, and communication protocols.

Develop and maintainautomation scripts and toolsfor data acquisition, logging, performance monitoring, and analysis.

Own and driveProof-of-Concept (PoC) development, validation, and successful field deployment.

Managesystem integrationacross AI models, robotics platforms, and external systems in real-world environments.

Provide technical support forproduct demonstrations, industry events, and customer pilot programs.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and engineering best practices.
