As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of data center tenancy and white space fit-out projects, overseeing construction, MEP installations, testing and commissioning, and client handover. Working closely with tenants, clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors, you will ensure project requirements are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the high standards expected in mission-critical environments. This role is suited for a hands-on project management professional with experience managing tenant-specific deployments, white space construction, and MEP-intensive projects within data center facilities.
Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of data center tenancy and white space fit-out projects, from construction through commissioning and final handover.
Oversee tenant fit-out activities, ensuring all works are executed in accordance with client requirements, technical specifications, and data center operational standards.
Coordinate the installation and integration of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), and supporting infrastructure systems required for tenant occupancy.
Work closely with tenants, data center operators, consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives and operational requirements are achieved.
Manage contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
Develop and monitor project schedules, track key milestones, identify project risks, and implement mitigation measures to maintain delivery timelines.
Conduct site inspections and progress reviews to ensure fit-out works are completed in line with approved designs, construction standards, and operational constraints.
Review shop drawings, method statements, technical submissions, and construction documentation for compliance with project requirements.
Lead coordination meetings with stakeholders and drive timely resolution of design, construction, and commissioning issues.
Monitor project budgets, change requests, variation orders, and progress claims to support effective project controls.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), and handover activities to ensure operational readiness of mission-critical systems.
Prepare project status reports, risk assessments, and progress updates for clients and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout all phases of project delivery.
Support project close-out activities, including defect resolution, documentation review, as-built verification, and final handover.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5-10 years of project management experience within the construction industry, preferably in data centers, mission-critical facilities, tenant fit-out, or large-scale MEP projects.
Proven experience delivering data center tenancy projects, white space fit-outs, tenant deployments, or mission-critical fit-out works from planning through commissioning and handover.
Strong understanding of white space construction, rack deployment environments, and tenant-specific infrastructure requirements within data center facilities.
Experience managing MEP systems including electrical distribution, HVAC/ACMV, fire protection, plumbing, ELV systems, and associated building services infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, risk management, and contract administration.
Familiarity with testing and commissioning processes, integrated systems testing (IST), and operational handover within mission-critical environments.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with tenants, clients, consultants, contractors, operators, and internal project teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working in fast-paced mission-critical or data center environments with a focus on safety, quality, and delivery excellence.
Must be open to working on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract.
