Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia, a core asset servicing hub in IOI City, Putrajaya, seeks an Associate Director for Tax Operations in Custody. You will build and lead the Tax Services department, ensuring smooth multi-market operations and adherence to global standards in a follow-the-sun service model.

Role requires 8+ years in asset servicing tax operations, strong leadership, and excellent English for cross-border collaboration with European stakeholders. Working hours are 9am–6pm MYT, based in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of management experience in Asset Servicing with Tax operations.
• Experience leading a team of 8+ and grooming junior staff.
• Strong understanding of Tax operations in key markets in Europe and the Americas.
• Excellent command of English with ability to coordinate with European stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review and submit relevant tax documents and forms to agents to ensure clients’ tax status is up to date.
• Engage with tax authorities and ensure client compliance with guidelines.
• Design and maintain frameworks for tracking tax processes and identify optimization opportunities.
• Deliver services aligned with business goals and measure performance with data-driven decisions.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team with regular reviews and business continuity planning.
