Job summary

Ansell, a world leader in health and safety protection solutions, seeks an Associate Analyst, Accountant to join its Finance Shared Services team in Kulim, Kedah. The role supports global AR processes and is suitable for fresh graduates or junior accounting professionals developing in a global environment.

You will contribute to accounts receivable, month-end activities, and financial reporting while collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve processes and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

Ansell is looking for an Assoc Analyst, Accountant to be based in Kulim, Kedah.

This role will be part of the Finance Shared Services team, supporting global accounting operations with a focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. The role is suitable for fresh graduates or junior accounting professionals who possess strong accounting fundamentals and are eager to develop their career within a global shared services environment.

What Will Your Role Be?

• Responsible for accounts invoice matching, resolve any exception.
• Prepare reconciliation of subledger, inter-co balance and confirmation.
• Perform cash posting and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts and transactions.
• Preparing and analyzing accounts receivable reports for management review.
• Involve in month end closing activities for closing of system, reconciliation and confirmation.
• Conduct regular reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and be responsible for preparing the financial statements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support Accounts Receivable processes and ensure timely resolution of accounting issues.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support finance operations across global business units.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management from time to time.

• Good analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exposure to ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365) will be an added advantage but is not required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
